    the club

I think that it is indicative of the the swans culture, that deep cuts and fundamental changes have not yet been made in a number of areas , including the playing list.
If the swans can't open themselves up to real change, a really bad attitude might be about to set in. I sure hope they are giving Roos the permission to do what he has to.
Also on the administrastion side, I called the club a couple of weeks ago about info on an upcomming game. The attitude I got was not very inspiring. Bring on Elections I say. The swans need a real good stirring up or they may well get themselves down in the doldrums.
The supporters are the best thing going for the swans at the moment !

What? 2 losses and the rebuilding period is forgotten? Well, if you can't take the heat, get out of the kitchen!

Last year there was a general agreement that the players we had serious questions about (I'll include a list of players who were suggested as deserving to be delisted by various posters) should get a chance at a year under Roosy to see if they pick up under his game. If the experienced don't then pick up, we agreed that then was the time to look to blood the youth, in an attempt to give them the necessary experience to challenge in a couple of years.

The players that various people had question marks over:
    Ben Mathews
    Ryan O'Keefe
    Brad Seymour
    Nic Fosdike
    Daniel McPherson
    Stephen Doyle
    Scott Stevens
    Michael O'Loughlin
    Luke Ablett
    Leo Barry
    Matthew Nicks
    Jude Bolton
    Jason Ball
    Brett Kirk
    Amon Buchanan
    Rowan Warfe

Now people in this and other threads are blaming the last 2 losses on not cleaning out these players last year, and actually playing them this year. Nay on the former, possibly on the latter.

Surely these are the players that are the ones that need time to prove their worth? Surely we at least owe them the chance of keeping their spot long enough that we could reasonably expect them to run into form, if indeed they are playing below their best?

If the younger guys (including Ablett and Bucky) get 10 to 12 games on average this year, as I think they will, then Roosy will have done as promised. This isn't the time for a lynching mob yet.
