    because to get in a good position by round 8 , you need to win games like on the weekend, especially against rubbish teams.


    and technically i think how we are travelling on grand final day is the main time to wait for

          A bit harsh - I think the Bulldogs will cause trouble for the unwary this year.

          As for the near-term prospects, the round 7 ladder will be a good guide to our likely fortunes. If we're in the top 4 after round 7 and we're still paying $1.30 or more for final-8 odds, make sure you get a bet on.

          Don't forget, the Swans aren't rated by many so-called experts, even though the Swans have a tendency to finish seasons with good form.
