Doyle's safe until a) a proven, established ruckman is available in the draft (yeah, right) or b) Erickson develops more quickly than expected and Shaw proves good enough to become our apprentice ruckman.We hate Anthony Rocca

An AFL club cannot enter into a contract with a player for ?match payments only?. The Collective Bargaining Agreement between the AFL, clubs and players provides for minimum base pay and match payments. The minimum that can be paid to a player (other than a first year draft choice player, second year player or a rookie listed player) is currently $51,500 a season plus $2,200 per senior game.Comment
