It was never going to last. A big problem with our past two years is that we didn't get it into F50 frequently enough and many of the games we won were through freakishly good accuracy. At some point over time it was likely we would revert to the mean as I think it was unlikely that our guys were significantly better shots than the rest of the competition or that our game plan produced better shots.

Most of our shots yesterday were from beyond 50m (BTW, I thought North were extremely good at cribbing a critical few metres on the mark - smart kangas).
Can't rely on that sort of accuracy time and time again.

We are going to have some inaccurate games, no need to get too worried about it. I missed where the Swans were kicking for goal on the other side of the ground from where I was sitting; but it looked like North were able to make our players kick from difficult angles and long distances at goal. We didn't seem to get any good service into our two forwards from the 10 midfielders.
I thought during the end of the 2nd and most of the 3rd (and the 4th for that matter) that Sydney were playing like they were 5 goals up. Maybe they didn't "look at the scoreboard"...
