Jude's disposal is generally pretty poor. However he was our best player in the final against St.Kilda last year, so there's a few others I would be getting rid of ahead of him.

Wasn't it Bolton who hit the roos defenders on the chest on two seperate occassions running forward into space?
      The guy can't hit targets.

In the Record on Saturday there was a player profile of Jude. One of the questions was "what is your memory from your first AFL game?".

Jude's reply was along the lines of "...waited on the bench for half the game and then butchering my first kick."

While I agree that Jude is hard at the ball and very committed to the team, he has terrible disposal and has been butchering kicks ever since!!!

          Hear hear.
And at $300 000 + a year I still say he is an over priced hack.

Yep, he's improving every year. By 2023, he'll be better than Judd...

                  sure did

look he couldnt of gotten much worse fellas

if hes on 300 grand he is over paid and he is currently utilised and expected to be something he isnt. At his best he is just a solid second -fourth best midfielder, not the star the team hopes he can be.

But as it stands right now he is not likely to be dropped at all!! He would be one of the first 5-10 picked

Are you talking about his pay packet?

You couldnt be saying his foot skills are better this year based on his last 2 games?

                    Cheers

I think he has had better off the ball movement this season to make space, looks to be reading the play a bit better. Also seems to be choosing the right option, doesn't actually get the ball to go to them of course, but he at least appears to know it is where the ball should go.
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

I know it's hard to simulate match pressure at training but for crying out loud why can he still not hit a target even when he is out in space.

Is there no one on the swans coaching staff working with him on this or is it that he is just not working hard enough.....

I didn't say that it was enough, his disposal still is clearly lacking (and frustrating). I just have noticed in the pre-season games and then the 2 regular season games so far this season that he appears, at least to me, to be reading the play better than he has previously.

That's actually a big improvement for Bolton.
