After yesterdays performance I hope there is no panic. We simply played very poorly and had no excuses for our form.I watched Brisbane last night and they are a tough, fierce, intimidating outfit.Do you think Roosy will be tempted to make changes and do we have any tougher type players running aroung in the 2's.It was good to see Fosdike played well in the reserves but the opposition must be questionable.

Re: Physical strenth needed against Brisbane
Absolutely. Watching the early game it was very difficult to appreciate the difference in intensity and pressure in the middle betweent hat league and the big one. That said, I thought Fosdike looked more damaging than Spriggs who seemed to handball to players under pressure a lot. Maybe he thinks that this is what the coach is looking for?Originally posted by smasher

Well, it seems to be what the seniors did all day yesterday (and always seemed to do week in, week out last season)Originally posted by ROK Lobster

we play better against the top sides like brisbane, and would have been on a nice streak against them bar the last quarter of the 2003 prelim and nick davis getting inured last year in round 1Theres not much left to sayComment
