The game plan of trying to pinpoint a free player is not helping his confidence either. The play just before quarter time where he had the ball and he had his kick blocked by Simpson on the mark was a direct result of this.

How many times have we seen this, opposition clubs must love seeing him in the team!

I remember it happening in the prelim final against Brisbane. It was at a crucial stage of the game too. His kicking style is very awkward and a lot of his kicks have low trajectories. I think when he's delayed for so long and finally decides to bomb it long, he probably takes a step or 2 too many and coupled with the low trajectory, the kick invariably ends up being smothered.
People, please, he is a developing kpp who likes a run around with his friends. He must be carried for the entire season so that he can develop into the best reserves half back of all time.
One of the problems for LRT is that our entire game plan seems to be kicking to an unmarked player - we rarely kick to a contest. Not being a footballer, LRT finds it difficult to spot up and hit an open player. It would be easier for him in another side if he could simply go long (or someone could run past for the handball). Other sides cope with players like this, but we don't.
Captain Logic is not steering this tugboat.
"[T]here are things that matter more and he's reading and thinking about them: heaven, reincarnation. Life and death are the only things that are truly a matter of life and death. Not football."
My instructions for LRT would be: Punch the ball and, failing that, firmly elbow the back of your opponents head. If you get the ball, handball to a player running past.

I actually thought he showed the most mongrel that I have ever seen in his game...yes he made lots of mistakes but it's unfair to single him out. They were all very very ordinary.

It's only Monday! We've still got time to single out the whole squad
