Well he did it all on Saturday...missed goals, had goals kicked on him and even had a run through the centre where he handed over possession in the most poite of ways to the Kangas.

It was a Warfeyeske performance without any of the usual comedic charm.

IMO Nicksy is just taking up a valuable position on the list that could be used by someone who's skill, pace and commitment is on the rise.

With any luck (at least) with Mick returning that should see his relegation to the ressies for the balance of 2005.

You are delusional. Nicks was in our top four for kicks, total possessions and marks on the W/E, (also 3 frees four, 1 against! Way to buck the trend). A clanger or two but no more than any other Swan. He was so good Roos tried to get him to play every position but he's only one man.

As for Roos playing him all over the place, you're the delusional one. After being a nothing forward, he was sent down back only to be a nothing backman.

I read it completely the opposite of you. He was moved around because he kept failing in each position.

I think they get pretty good support. They got it from all the supporters who travelled.

I bought a ticket (x2), drove down from Sydney, paid for accomodation, sat in 29 degrees and watched a game which should have been refundable.

The reality is that most supporters can take a loss when you're beaten by a better team but we just imploded and even the players are pissed with themselves.

That was the most frustrating self destructive I have seen from Swans in a long while and was way below what this team should be capable of.

I was really concerned about Nicks' value to the team this time last year, but in the 2nd half of the season he turned it around and was one of out better players IMHO.

From two games so far this year, he's been pretty ordinary, but we have several others that could be lumped in that bucket.

He could be one to get the chop when Magic comes back.

I trust people don't believe that we aren't allowed to critisise the team or any players when they play poorly.

I'm sure we would also sing their praises if they put in a worthy performance.

It's just a pity that the team continues to be up and down, but I still love the team - even if I think they put in a stinker against a mediocre team.

I believe that Nicks had a definite resurgance last year and was very strong at towards the end, especially going into the finals. A poor start to this year certainly but he proved last year that there is still potential to play well. Too early for the chop IMHO.

Is more attention being directed at him as he was named by Roos as one who came to mind?

There were many players missing and making silly errors on the weekend. I don't think it's fair to single out Nicks when others made just a glaring errors.

Love your work Hood, I agree totally and then some - Nicks was absolutely Poo...Sometimes you have to be at the ground (as opposed to watching on tv or paper results for stats) to realise his possessions were worth nothing, his running to position resembled a headless chicken and his body isn't up to the rigours of AFL any longer.

I actually thought he played like Darren Holmes and not Rowan Warfe...Holmes was the worst footballer to grace a football field and that's how bad Nicksy was....Last week he was Warfe, this week Holmes, next week (hopefully) Manangatan Thirds....

After seeing adelaide play yesterday, that would not have been too hard. They were shocking, Goodwin MacGregor and a freak goal from Mcleod was the big difference.
