Can't believe others are not thinking like this. The Lions are about as weak as they're likely to get this season. They've got more missing/underdone than they've ever had. If we can't knock them off when they are at this state we are well on the way to saying adios 2005.

One to watch for. Ablett on Aker for at least some of the game after his effort last week.

Well, you seem to be at odds with the Hun experts. They have us losing by up to 40+ points. Only Gerard Healy thinks we'll narrowly get a win.

"The Lions are about as weak as they're likely to get this season." That's a Lions team that has knocked off the Aints and nearly ran over Port when they finally realised the game had started. Terrifying to think what they'll be like at full strength then! Better than the past four years? Or is all the opposition worse this year?

            Hi from Quoinslend!

Hi all, JF reporting from an internet cafe in Ann St in central Brisvegas. The weather here is not brilliant. It has been rainy on and off all day, with it sometimes being pretty heavy. When the sun comes out it is like you are having a bath, really humid and really uncomfortable.

The forecast is for this sort of weather to continue all weekend. (So those of you who are coming up, bring your ponchos parkas and wet weather gear.)

And we know how well our beloveds do in the wet, don't we?

Just letting you know that if you have tipped us, just be aware that it will be a wet track tomorrow.

Excellent conditions for lots of short handballs and chipping around.

No I'm not. I was agreeing with the Cows assessment of not winning this and we are not looking good for the rest of the season, and probably more importantly how the Swans as a club are going particularly in terms of depth given that we constantly benchmark ourselves up against the Lions.

Very scary indeed particularly given that it may well indicate they are prevailing against the conventional wisdom that they have to head down the slippery slope at some stage.

Not better but well able to maintain their standard even with so many top players out or underdone. Opposition..... quite probably still a long way behind the Lions it looks, if they are able to produce very strong depth out of very low draft picks.

Yep, one goal makes us wet weather champions... We were awesome in the wet against Essendon... oh, hang on...

It's a 2 horse race, but Brisbane have a slight edge

Our chances are probably somewhere between 3 and 4

                        so I am voting p
