its 1995 round 8 i think ...whenever it was we beat carlton on friday night and lockett leaped on silvangi for a hanger, i didnt know he could get that high!

Teaser used to take some great ones and Max James pulled down an absolute ripper one day.

        Remember Max's vividly.

Have a photo on the wall of Teaser taking a hanger at Arden St in 1977. Went back and slotted it from more than 60 metres. Browning followed up minutes later to seal a place in the 4.

I think though that Wokka's purple patch at the SCG where he took a series of screamers were the best.

            Recent memory has a few:

Roosy in 1998 (of all years the old dog got up on someone shoulders for a mark on the wing at the SCG one night)

Kel after coming back from the cracked patella in Freo was incredible. Reckon he took 2 that day but they were probably his last.

Goodesy on Jon Brown at the Gabba was very satisfying.

I like Capper's mark against North?.He led to the ball , slowed down so the defender got in front of him and then jumped on his shoulders for a speccie. Not the greatest mark of all time but summed up Capper's attitude.A real showman.

Exciting time! It was the 'five' by that time too.

Yeah, that was cool - pity he wasn't smart enough to work out not to try it every single time!!

The one Bayes took in his last game - although not his greatest, it was a classic Bayes mark and I'm still full off respect that he was pulling them down to the end of his playing career.

No doubt in my mind that 'Teaser' is the most consistent, spectacular mark at the Swans since I've been watching footy.

Capper was a spectacular mark but never took the pack marks Teaser did.

Max James' was a beauty as was one John Roberts took against Geelong.

Wayne Carroll took a beauty that got him "Mark of the Year" I think.

Yep - his game plan was built around taking spectacular marks. Occasionally he managed one, but didn't do a lot else.

1987 Capper sat on Chris Langford's back to take an absolute screamer.

Recall a beauty from Leo Barry in 1998 against the Roos I think.

Shane Fell took an awesome one in the goalsquare in 88.

Will edit this post when I think of some more.

I think Leo Barry based his game on Wayne Carroll before he was shifted to defence.

Got to agree with Capper, despite the fact I can't stand the guy.

Kelly against Freo was top class, also had a pearler the same year against Collingwood (extra points).

Leo about 2 years ago took a good contender, I think it was against Hawthorn (a bit vague on the opp)

Teasdale, ahead of the Fell mark for contested.

                            Honourable mentions:
Minton-Connell took a few, as have Goodes and Dunks.
                            Staying ahead of the game...

Minton-Connell dropped more than he took. Rubber-chest!
