    Interesting Stat ...

    On the coverage on the weekend, a stat came up at the start of the match.

    Sydney have the most contested marks in the competition (to that point).

    I was shocked! Didn't this used to be our week point?
    Or is it because we kick to pack situations THAT often that we have to be leading?

          well, we drop a lot of uncontested ones as it is gotta make em up somewhere..

          177th Senior AFL Match - Round 4, 2009 - Sydney vs Carlton, SCG. This is obviously out of date. I suppose I'll update it once I could be bothered sitting down with the fixture and working it out....

              Most likely because players kick to the packs instead of the percentage kick. Good stat to have on your side though, nice work

                  Would be interested to see that stat again in say 6 weeks from now, and also see it broken down now, and again then into contested marks in defensive 50, midfield, forward 50.

                  I'm on the Chandwagon!!!

                  If you cannot compete for the premiership, it's better to be young and exciting than middle-aged and dowdy.

                      I would also be very interested in which players are leading the way for the swans in contested marks.
