Last quarter stat. We one every centre clearance and but Brisbane on the back foot. How long since we have had a stat like that.

Hats off to Jason Ball, he played his best game for us IMO. His second efforts at the centre contests were superb.

Excuse me, but has Luke Ablett arrived or what.

Phew. Still shaking. Jude Bolton's goal from 60 almost erased last week and half of last year (I did say almost). To see them still running like mad in the last five minutes....Kennelly sprinting next to Bolton as he went to kick it..........then Matthew Nicks spoil and tap on to Goodesy.....

Geez after last week I was ready to write them off.

God I hope we play like that all year....soak up the pressure and run like faaarrrrrkkkkk in the last quarter. Great stuff.

I hereby declare today the day of the comeback. Three pearlers.

Special mention to Dempster who backed himself a couple of times and showed some poise late, Ablett who was good all night, Nick D who showed a lot on the ball and Jason Ball who put in his best game for a while. Barry's kicking was magnificent.

Funny, after I posted this I note that a few picked the same players I did as keys to our win.

What about Willo! Has there ever been a more perfect kick?

                  YOU BLOODY BEAUTY!

One of the most exciting quarters I have seen for an extremely long time.

I am still shaking some 30 or so minutes later. That was possibly the most amazing comeback I have ever seen by a team I support. Ablett was awesome and without doubt BOG for Sydney. Sydney must change its game plan and become that fast running, forward moving, confident attacking football team every week. At half time I was dreading the rest of the footy season, now I say bring it on!!!

PS Brisbane will hate us for doing that to them .... he he he

Funny thing about Bolton's kick was is that it seemed to float a bit and the commentators wondered it was a good option and I wasn't so sure myself. But we were lucky that the Brisbane players seemed surprised by it and were out of position.

                      Willo's goal was superb.

Loved Dempster's chase in the last qtr (I think we were 5 pts down) when Voss was running towards goal and about to collect the ball - Dempster kept his feet (which is something the Swans have always struggled with) and kept his cool and rushed a behind. Critical play.

I think today was the right day to start my anti-seizure drugs.

For Footyhead - Say what you like about the Swans win tonight, but the Swans have done something your Saints couldn't do and have a better record to boot.

Look what happens when they decide to kick the ball long.

One thing we have is pace, so get it, move it quick and roost it long and our forwards will kill anyone.

What happened was Hall, Davis and O'Keefe played as they are paid. To kick goals and crumb. When we kicked it long Davis and O'Keefe grew another leg, Williams and Nicks ran onto the footy and before Brisbane knew it they were powerless to stop the run on.

With 5 minutes to go Brisbane tried to slow it up but we were so quick to pounce on them.

If it proved one thing. There is only one way for us to play and that was the second half style.

When it went through the sticks from 60 out you were the first person I thought of. He has improved this year.

I doubt he meant to go for goal, and it did start heading to the left goal post.

Absolutely fantastic, never looked like missing.

That was certainly important because Pike was waiting to pounce if Dempster had slipped. Great composure for a young kid.

Yep commentators noted how it was such a calm and collected play by a rookie at such a critical stage of the game, great way to start your senior AFL career by Dempster, dare I say it but the rising star nomination for the round????
