Did you think we would win at half time?

But at three quarter time i bet 100 bucks we would win!

While not feeling too good about it, I thought we could pull the game out of the fire at Half Time and at 3 quarter time I was hopeful if we got the first goal, which we did......

I would bet 1000 that we wouldn't, but luckly I was never a good gambler....

I stopped watching at half time. Cleaned the house up a bit and watched Roy and HG. Started watching again at the start of the last quarter... luckily.

At half time, it seemed like we were playing like we did last week. I thought we had no chance to win at that point.

I didn't really think we could win until about 3 mins to go. Though at 3/4 time on the tele I was going to look on here and see what the full-time score was but for some reason I couldn't make myself. Glad now. Great stirring win, and it was exciting too.

i've answered no but i always felt we had a chance to turn it around. once those three goals were kicked in the start of the fourth i thought we were better than an even chance as i felt brisbane had reckoned the game was won for them already.
then again, i think it would be worth trying 15-16 players on field so what would i know

Honestly thought Sydney were dead and buried at HT (and 3/4Time for that matter), was juts following the game via the web and watching Roy and HG as the comeback as unfolded, switched it over just in time to see the final quarter.

It took me a while to get over the stress of the Lions office TOTALLY stuffing up my ticket on the night. I ordered a 2nd ticket late in the piece via the Swans. The Swans office said to collect it at Gate 7, where we had collected them in the past. Then Gate 7 said that all tickets had to be collected from the Lions Service Office at Gate 2, right around the other side of the ground. So off I choof, only to be told by a huffy Lions offical that all tickets WERE sent to Gate 7 after all. To the head of the Lions ticketing's credit, she did bolt off to Gate 7 HERSELF to get it for me. But the hole thing was a complete shermozzle. I missed going out on the banner as a result.

At half time he two rows of us in the Cheer Squad were bemoaning not only the drab boring depressing footy, but were getting very very vocal in our discussions of how poorly Maxfield was playing. I was musing about how I was getting disillusioned with the game. And was even starting to watch the NRL again (much to the curiousity of some of the locals behind us.)

But that was then. This is now. And I kinda like that 'now feeling' at the moment, despite my hangover.

After those three goals were kicked, I felt like blowing a bugle and yelling out "Charge!" It certainly felt like the cavalry was on its way. Now if only I had a bugle....

Still thought we were a show at half time despite our fart arsing game play. But i had little to no hope at 3 qtr time. Glad i was damn wrong!

I didn't think we would win until about the last minute. I was just watching the last qtr quite dispassionately just hoping we could get something out of it and enjoying us finally playing football. Strangely it never really clicked until about 25 min that it was close and we could just win or just lose. Then I was suddenly really nervous - this was when the ball was on the wing just before Ball managed his great clearance ('Huge Win' - Malcolm Blight on that clearance).

I too felt we were gone. - We got a sniff after half time but not enough. I went to get on here and see the score as tele was behind - but for some reason didnt - thank goodness.
Also turned tele off at 81 all as I couldn't watch - kept tape going.
Then after a minute or two - turned it back on to see all the great play and aggression from the Swans. Wo looking forward to watching that quarter over and over.
                          Love those Swans

I suppose I didn't think we'd win, but I had a gut feeling that we might. I wasn't feeling as nauseous as I usually do when a loss seems inevitable.

I was watching the game at the Aussie Rules Club in Kings Cross, and when Barry kicked the goal, we all went mad. It was brilliant.

Dude, it's like our teams 'thing'. We play like pansies for most of the game and at the end we make a comeback and win. I love it when that happens because it's exciting but most of us feel like throwing up because we think we've totally lost it and I get so nervous. It's ok for that to happen but it'd suck if we went to all that effort and we just lose.
