    Ball and Jolly

I thought these two were very important last night. Leigh Matthews was putting on as many runners he could (in fact Starkevich could have pulled on a guernsey at some stages) and this imbalance played into our big fellas hands. Very impressed in the last quarter with Ball's second efforts to go over and help others and dish out of packs.

Thought Ball was terrific last night, I think perhaps he wanted to make up for that goal last year...and in my mind he did go close.

There was one piece of play in the second half (i think) where Brisbane were streaming down the far wing and Ball laid an awesome tackle to force a ball-up (no pun intended). If he didn't create that stoppage, I bet Bradshaw would have had another shot at goal with another Brisbane F50 entry.

Ball played like a yougster.!! He was in the right place at the right time a few times. Good to see he is still a big contributor. And while Jolly is not starring like he did Rnd 1, he has taken the pressure off Ball/Goodes at ruck contests, and is winning his fair share of the taps.
