    Channel 10's coverage

    Had I not already known that the swans were playing, it would have taken a good 5-10 minutes to figure it out from last nights intro. First we get all the info on Brisbane's season thus far, then all the stuff about Voss' 250th, then we get to see them run onto the ground and through the banner, without a single mention of Sydney. I was flabbergasted. Does anyone know what was on Sydney's banner? It's not as though we didn't have a few important milestones as well...

    Add Blight and bloody Quartermain...

      I agree - what was on the banner - we did come to play - hello channel ten - you have to answer for that - it is all because of damn Voss's 250 game - so great we won - adds to the greatness of a win - against all odds - even the television.

      Blight - was such a drop kick - I turned the sound off -= he was just so annoying.

          Channel Eddie Sunday footy show wasn't much better giving us about half the coverage of all the other games they did.

              Hmmm might have something to do with apart from a total of 15 mins of footy there wouldnt have been many highlights.
              Half of NSW would have changed channel after 10 mins into 1st qtr.

                          One side of the banner was congrats to Kirk on 100 games and to Crouch on his record, the other side talked about NSW coming up and winning the Pura Cup and how it was the Swans turn to do win as well.

                          I'm on the Chandwagon!!!

                          If you cannot compete for the premiership, it's better to be young and exciting than middle-aged and dowdy.

                              While the first half was low scoring I thought it was a fascinating and tense arm wrestle. All we heard from the commentators was bitching and moaning.....

                                      Sorry, I must disagree on that one. There's usually no countdown clock at the games, so it adds to the excitement. Countdown clocks just ruin the coverage because you can't get the feeling of being at the ground, not knowing if there's one minute of play left or three. It really deflates the excitement to know there's exactly 7 seconds to go and the game is definitely going to have a particular result.

                                      Countdown clocks are a moronic idea. To see how stupid it is, the clocks are always hidden if the TV telecast is used on the big screens at the grounds. Why hide the clocks unless there's good reason to do so? Why not just remove the countdown clock altogether?
