let's see what the status is (especially of micky) friday.
then again, i think it would be worth trying 15-16 players on field so what would i know

After the Schauble delays last year, do they have an "available-ish" heading for the website?

Adelaide were awesome yesterday. I hope they take a week to recover from all that running around and kicking goals. I presume MOL will be back as FF this week? (Nick Davis told us last year that it could well be considered Aboriginal sacred land.) And Schauble in the 2s to come up to speed. Or just throw him straight in against Ricciuto (who says he may spend more time up forward)?

That is such good news. Schauble is our key defender. Because of his leadership down back as well as his ability to match up against the best forwards in the competition, I see no reason why he cant go str8 into the A's so long as he is fit.

Likewise, if Mick is match fit and free of any injury worries, lets start him on the bench.

What a treat, having our best 22 available to choose this weekend (unless you think Fixter is in our best 22).

Im thinking Ricciuto would be too quick for Schauble, especially if he wants to run him around with no match fitness.

MOL will slot right in at FF, with Jolly to start on the bench (or vice versa).

Who makes way for Schauble? LRT?

for his organisational/leadership qualities he's worth the punt. however, after returning from a foot injury, there is no question he'll be underdone and will need plenty of assistance and bench rotation.

Based on previous years Schuable will need at least a couple of weeks in the ressies to get going. Even if he does return after a couple of runs in the 2's you can expect another 3 or 4 on top of that in the seniors before he regains his touch. He has shown in the past that it can take him a while to get into it again.

As for MOL, no worth playing him in the 2's. Straight back into the side at FF as he creates massive headaches for opposition coaches in regards to match-ups. Would also think that O'Keefe and Goodes would benefit from him being there as they get the 3rd or 4th defenders.

Having Micky at FF may allow players like Davis and Goodes to rome around more and would create an strong looking forward-line on paper. Can't see the need for Schauble to come back with Craig Bolton playing well, and the rest of the backline doing its job. I guess all magic has to do is occupy the goal square and make the most of his possessions
                Come on Magic!

No need to rush Schauble back. We are going to need him against Neitz more than against Adelaide.

Micky has a gold card. He goes straight into a position in the seniors and collects $200.

I agree - I don't think there is anyone in Adelaide's forward line whom we really need Shauble to match up on.

Don't forget that after Schaubles long run out of the side last season due to injury, he only played one match in the 2nds before coming back into the seniors.
