Kennelly and Crouch armbands for Pope

just heard Crouch interviewed and he joked that maybe 'God' was with the Swans and they had a miracle win. Talked more about his desire to view the pope in the Vatican than the actual match and Aker's tactics and comments. Bit bizarre really but thought I would share this tidbit for anyone who didn't hear it.

I don't usually do this during a game but when we were 1 goal down I went outside and prayed for us to win this game.

That's good to know. At 3/4 time I didn't think we had a prayer.

It's pretty widely accepted by theologians that God is a Catholic and a Swans supporter.

Then why are nuns in Collingwood colours?

Today the Telegraph(!) decided that the Queen had missed the royal wedding because she was out the back wearing a red and white tiara and barracking for the Swans.

God to see all those Cardinals dressed in the Swannies gear too.

Although there was a big bunch of Freo supporters down the steps a bit.

Then we're in trouble if even God can't help us win a flag since 1933.

And patience is a virtue ...

(But waiting too long for something sure is frustrating !)
