    Johnny,
I Agree turning the kids over ala Multhouse and woods, is the way to go. Multhouses methods in this area should be writen up into a manual and handed out as mandatory reading for all first year coaches. Also rewarding good work in the seconds and at training with real time played in the 1sts keeps the dirrection and improvment of the team moving forward.

Robbie, just a wee correction on Graeme John.

He is in fact a West Australian recruited by Sth Melbourne
from East Perth where he made his mark as a CHB.

His son Gareth played for the Sydney Swans in the early
90's and suffered a bad facial injury playing Essendon
      in a Fri night game.

Just a wee wee correction... Gareth suffered a throat injury not a facial injury .

        Couldn't resist.
"As a player he simply should not have been able to do the things he did. Leo was a 185cm, 88kg full-back and played on some of the biggest, fastest and best full-forwards of all time, and constantly beat them." Roos.
Leo Barry? you star! We'll miss ya, ''Leapin''.
