How is Schneider pushing for a place in the side if the reserves had a bye?
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time
Originally posted by Schneiderman Somehow I think Roos will give another go to Spriggsy, just for fairness sake. Possibly he may be used on one of the quicker Adelaide midfielders because of his endurance.
Has Spriggs any form as a run with player?
Originally posted by Schneiderman My tip is that Bevan will be dropped, along with Buchanan. McVeigh will come back in along with MOL.
I still don't know how the selection committee singled McVeigh out to be dropped.
if magic comes in i hope they dont drop buchanan he hasnt done much wrong and has wonderful endevour and courage. I would consider dropping spriggs, bevan, maybe even okeefe first

I suggest Buchanan has missed some easy goals from shots that for a player of his type were gimmes. He and Schneider both have trouble kicking goals on the run when not under pressure.
Can't see them dropping anyone else from the forward line, and Bevan seems popular with the selectors.

hmmm good point, i just think buchanan is in better form than bevan. But if magic is fit you gotta slot him into the team!
When he is on song so are we. He has been a bit of barometer for us in recent years. It just adds that touch of class and uncertainty for the opposition that only the elite can.
If he starts on the ground and manages to get a few goals while fresh then he will have done his job. You would expect he is busting his guts to get out there.

Nico, I agree mate.
I am a fan of Buchanan, however in all three games, particularly Hawthorn and Kangas, Amon's disposal let him down on more than one occassion in each match. Still a developing player though, but perhaps may be the one to be dropped if Mick comes back in.

Interesting enough Buchanan was second behind Ablett for hardball gets for the Swans with that in mind maybe Bevan I like this kid but at the moment he seems down on confidence and is struggling to find the footy at the moment or alternatively they drop bevan and buchanan and bring back Mcviegh and MO

There's no question about that.

Thats the question I am suggesting Roos would like answered too. I would have thought that superb endurance is key to a good tagger (well unless you resort to Brodie Holland/Kane Cornes thuggery).
BTW he played on Aker for a while in the last quarter.

Never really rated this stat, since i remember Stafford leading the Swans in this department back in the day.

I think ROK needs another chance,IF MOL comes in as he will get a defender one rung on the ladder down.
