              At least one (or two) of them were off the ground and coulda gone anywhere, except straight thru.

                      Even without goals he pulls his weight in the midfield and then some. Was particularly good in the final quarter last Saturday.
                      He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)
