Swans v West Coast - where to sit?

Tickets go on sale on Monday. I'm pretty hopeful of getting a ticket since there are still tickets for WEST COAST V W.BULLDOGS in round 4. The seating plan is:

The cheer squad sits at the 3-tiered stand (non-city) end, right? I've sat around approximately 106, 112, 133 and 147 in the past and only feared for my life in the 133ish seats. So what's the dealio?

I wouldn't want to bring them into disrepute (I need complete freedom of expression ). Can you confirm the end the cheersquad is at?

Contact the club mate. From memory we will be at the left of screen goals (city end?).

If you get tickets through the club, you have a choice of tickets with the CS/WA Supporters Club. Or can opt for seats with the Swans allocation up in the grandstand.

If you want to sit on your own mate, it is up to you. But remember that it is strength in numbers.

You can even come out on the banner with us SC. But remember POLE THE BLOODY THING GENTLY AWRIGHT!

Not yet; somewhere just inside the 50m line a bit back from the fence at the City end (but on the opposite side to the fear-for-your-life side) is what I am looking at. But I might be limited in my choice!

Near the 50m arc is a good spot. If you're quick with the wit, the Eagles forwards would really hear you in the stadium and you may be surprisingly effective in putting them off. The last thing an Eagles forward would want when lining up from 50m out on the boundary line is a loud and rabid Swans fan speculating about his footy boots, his lack of talent, his kicking action, his tight pants, his parentage.

I remember Richo at the MCG last year when he missed a shot at goal from the top of the goal square in the first quarter. I don't recall if anyone put him off, but it was amusing to watch.

You would have to ask "Anniswan" what she said, because he wasn't the same all day afterwards

But bugger that. You'll be one person in a sea of 40000 chardonnay-whielding hooligans pelting the Swans with fl....lutes of sparkling wine.

I can watch the match on replay if I want to see who played where etc etc.

I want to be amongst friends. and create atmosphere for my team.Hate being all subdued at the footy. and would be too scared to yell anything out if I were surriounded by locals.

So behind the goals in the ANZ Stand it is. I should bring a bag of flags over again this year too.

Where is the Irish Club in relation to the ground?

After the problem I had in Brisbane finding a cab (especially wearing Swans gear) to get back to my hotel I'm hoping to stay in walking distance (which in my case is not far)
