The Irish club is a nick davis drop punt from subi oval. no dramas there at all. looking forward to the game, hope we bloody win over here this year. it would really make the after match function a ripper time. and it would be sweet to give it to the weagles supporters as i hate them

I hope that once again I will be chastised by some old cow for clapping and yelling too loudly.

There's non-drinking seats available but I think they are for druggies.

That's right. That's where the Swans cheersquad sat last year & us Port supporters in WA always sit that end....bock 141 it is directly behind the goals.

Perhaps a bit more tact is required when speaking about members of your family.

I hope it goes well and I hope you don't get treated like cattle.

I love being amongst all the Eagles surpporters I give them a spray and they dish it back, plus I always go with a few feral Dockers surpporters and some ex-vics who hate the Eagles as much as I do.

Despite the dread I am feeling about our chances, I bought two tickets 'round in area 152 today. The tickets are more on the wing than I wanted but there are no pairs of tickets left so I had to get two with three seats in between. I almost wussed on going to the game but I figure that attending Swans games at Subiaco gets you out of time in Purgatory.

The best sit would be at home watching a good movie during the game...

What about a desert island with no TV, Radio or paper. Less stress.

I know mate. Brisbane is a complete joke with cabs at night. I ended up getting mine at 130am, after a wait of over an hour.

But fear not, Subiaco is right near two train lines. So you should be ok. Cabs? Not sure how the situation is for that. But Hay St Subiaco is a kinda of cafe district. So there shouldn't be too much hassle getting one. Remember Perth at night is a ghosttown.

Where to stay? Hmm, I don't recall anywhere close to the ground. Try Quest Apartments, apparently just down the road from the ground.

I bet a lot of Hawks supporters felt that way last weekend.

I got a cab just after Boofhead headed off looking for you, say 20 mins after I left you. P****d of a guy we'd been talking to who'd been waiting for an hour (he said). Couldn't see the point in waiting with him so I headed about 100m further 'upstream' (so to speak). Good move. The cabbie pointed out I might have had better luck not in my Swannies gear. A change of shirt would probably be a good move in similar circumstances.

I think I tried the Quest but they weren't taking bookings. I've found a place (Cambridge Atrium) a short walk north of Subi (near the hospital). My reference to staying within a short walk was related to after-match activities (hopefully celebrations).

My source (a player family member) informs me that I might be on the same flight home as the team. I hope we are ALL in a happy mood.
