    Aker The Actor

There was talk (mainly from that brain dead Ox) in Melb that there would be some scrutiny over Aker laying on the ground during our game.

The way he sprung up, it looked as though there was nothing in it.

However there was talk that he may have taken a knee to the "families" from either Crouchy or Goodesy?

I thought that both was very unlikely given the way he was not affected just seconds later.

Was there any other media about this and are we in the clear?

Very poor form there mate... why wouldnt a diving team dive? Keep workin on the routine... Something like "He went down more times than a submarine" perhaps?

He HAS to be punished for diving. If they arent going to give him the free when he jerks as if being hit high or in the back, then they must give one the other way to get him back into line.
And what is the G O with the way he ran around the player taking the mark just to get cheap and easy possessions. He did not play as well as the papers say.

I agree re his diving. On saturday, I saw him look to see who was watching then took a dive to see if he'd get a free. It was chronic acting.

But can't agree that he didn't play well. The number of time i saw him get the ball to a Lion in space, I started to fantasise about what we'd look like if he really had come to Sydney. The problem would be that he represents exactly what the rest of Australia thinks Sydney is: loud and shooting his mouth off to creat general embarassment.

Actormanis as we like to call him in my household.

I thought he played a great game, and i quite like the running around the man on the mark technique if you are wearing a heavy tag.

Diving should indeed be scrutinised and punished. Moreso if it is in scoring range.

He did play a good game. Im not saying he didnt. But he should not be credited on gaining heap of possessions when half at least were gained by getting a gift from a team mate. If it is a team ploy, they cleary dont rate the skill of their team. If it was for a Dunkley or Prestigiacomo, then fair enough, but he started taking it off some half decent kicks.

Btw, the submarine quote was not mine, i had a slightly more degrading one but was suitably changed... to a pretty lame one... ah well.

Buckley, woewoeful and a dozen others in fact, most people who get a tagger will rely on the ball being handed to them when they are running past. The team knows they are damaging when they have the ball, why not give it to them??

Aker is a a damn good player but loses my respect because of his constant whinging!

This morning (Wed.) on Sunrise news at 8:00am Aker was interviewed and stated that he couldn't believe that Goodes did not have to front the tribunal because in AKer's words Goodsie punched him and not tackled him.

Talk about sour grapes after losing on Saturday night!

Now Goodes is back to being my hero. If everyone who wanted to punch Aker ever turned up, the line would stretch out the tribunal door and most of the way up the Hume Highway.

I saw him earlier on the Sunrise news. They also replayed the incident and it just looked like Goodes had gone to tackle him. Apart from the fact that Aker deserves a good punch in the head, for him to carry on like this is quite extraordinary. I urge everyone to bring "Aker is a Wanker" and "Aker Squeals" banners to the game at Telstra Stadium on 14 August and give this mouthing, squealing cretin heaps.
