Also posted in another thread about Sadds but in brief, he played extremely well in the reserves match vs Ainslie in Canberra last Saturday week.
Kicked a couple of goals, looked fit and played well. Perhaps another couple of weeks in the res. before he will be recalled.Swannies for life!Comment

will he play chb though??? or is he going to play forward??
id like to see him end up at chb eventually, i know many dont, but he is tall and stong and quite athletic and matches up well in theory against many key forwards.....Theres not much left to sayComment

He is dangerous when he takes either the 3rd or 4th defender when he plays forward after Hall and Micky O and tends to play better when he plays on the opposition's 3rd or so forward.Swannies for life!Comment

I hope he slots into CHB with a decent brain as well. He seems to have a pretty weak knowledge of when to punch instead of grab, and whereabouts his man is. I dont think his size is too much of an issue tho.
I dont really reckon that CHB is that much of an important position as it used to be. Like if we have Schaubs back to play FB, then takes out the big men of the opposition, eg: Treadrea, Richo etc. But there are no real big CHF like Barry Hall remaining. Craig Bolton, Tiger, Leo etc are all capable of playing on 2nd-4th forwards and provide awesome rebound off defence. When you add a fired up and revamped Saddo, that free up one of the defenders even more... Sure the spine is vital to League footy, but as FF generally play up the ground more and more, is there really that much of a desperate need for a CHB? We havent had one for the last few years... really, who was our last strong CHB? Ah well, just a thought, cheers.- Impossible is just a big word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live in a world they've been given, than to explore the power they have to change it. Impossible is not a fact, it's an opinion. Impossible is not a declaration, it's a dare. Impossible is potential. Impossible is temporary. Impossible is nothing!Comment

At the Manuka aftermatch I'm pretty sure that he said he was hoping to play forward as he was doing well there last year before injury.Comment

Apparently he has bulked up, a lot, over the summer!!
he has got to learn patience and timing in the contest, to keep his centre of gravity low and to leap at the right moment. if he stayed low a bit more he'd be able to shrug others off in the contest and be a lot more valuable.then again, i think it would be worth trying 15-16 players on field so what would i knowComment

Tredrea is 97Kgs, Barry Hall is 101KGsYou don't ban those who supported your opponent, you make them wallow in their loserdom by covering your victory! You sit them in the front row. You give them a hat! Toby ZieglerComment
