    Sundays Match Ups

The game seems won or lost in the midfield this weekend, like most others. So who will be the key matchups for the round?
I reckon Crouch will tag Mcleod, he seems to most games we play and will match him for speed. Others may be Goodwin and Kirk? I think Roo will be too big a body for Captain, so Maxfield may prove to be a better option there. I dont recall Goodwin being the most accountable player, probably wrong, but i reckon Kirk is the man for the job.
We should kill em for height around the ground, with Goodes having no real match and our backs being able to rebound pretty easily. Should be pretty close, but i reckon we'll get over the line. Any thoughts?
    - Impossible is just a big word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live in a world they've been given, than to explore the power they have to change it. Impossible is not a fact, it's an opinion. Impossible is not a declaration, it's a dare. Impossible is potential. Impossible is temporary. Impossible is nothing!

I must admit that I was astounded that Adelaide kicked that many goals against Port. It is a reflection of their quality midfield and not their forward line. Shut down Welsh and there is not much else there.

These are the type of games that we MUST win to be top 4 and premiership sides do not lose these types of games.

Sydney by 38 (crossing my fingers and toes now!)
    Swannies for life!

..and Barry is perfect for Welsh so that should be that.

Kirk played on Riccuito last time we played the Crows and was the outstanding player on the ground. He amassed over 30 possessions himself in what was a close, tight match around the midfield, while Riccuito only got a dozen or so. Riccuito did spend some time off the ground injured and it probably restricted him later in the game but even so, Kirk did a magnificent job on him. I'd tip him to pick up Roo again this week.

Wouldn't be surprised to see Ablett get the job on McLeod after successfully keeping Wells quiet a couple of weeks ago.

Think Willo used to pick up Andy in the old days but here is my smokey for McLeod, SPRIGGSY!

We can't worry too much about tagging in this clash, reckon we need the ball to keep the momentum going for the last quarter of Saturday night.

The way both teams ended their last games, it could be a goal fest. But I bet it's not.
