    sick of reading

I don't bother reading all the posts people put on this site nowdays and I will tell you why.
It's the same OLD thing, dump this player, dump that player, we need more youth, Roos needs to change his game plan, why isn't this happening why isn't that happening.
This is just incase some of you don't know but we are 3 games into a 3 year plan of assessing our list and building a strong and hopfully premership winning team. We where told to expect inconsistancy this year and while I don't like loosing I think we are on the right path and are prepared to wait and give the coaching staff a chance to see what they can do.

The only change I would make would be to have LRT and Powell in the team - for Warfe and McPherson. Why you ask? Well its because I feel we need more height down back and there are no other players on the list who can give it to us. So why Warfe and McPherson? Because when (I hope) in 5 years we are pushing for a flag will they be part of it? No. Are they playing important roles now? No.

Thats all. I think the club has to look long term at most decisions thats all.
    Once was, now elsewhere

Bexl, it is clear that the Swans are unable to make these decisions, and need us to help provide imput into questionable players.

Within days of our comments here, Roos came out and questioned how long uncommitted players should be carried by the club.
      Coincidence? I think not.
In reality, we are controlling the ins and outs of the team.
They did nearly everything we wanted them to do at teh end of last year, except dropping Goodes and O'Loughlin, but they'll have a couple of poor games at the end of this year, and we'll have thier heads this year

Seriously, you're really always gonne get this to some extent here, that's what the board is for, to analyse this and to analyse that.
And players are gonna get analysed most

i have to agree with bexl here.
i don't like how after a game many people assume that they can plan a team better than roosy and other coaching staff can.
personally i don't think it is fair as we don't know what goes on every week in training so what gives us the right to judge. i know that what i said won't suddenly make everyone stop but can it be restricted to one thread so that people who are not interested in player bullying don't have to look thought it to get to descent posts.
Waiting for the day i see Barry Hall with HAIR!!! and when i say HAIR, i mean LOTS OF HAIR!!!

Of course. What else is the point of the board if we can't all be armchair coaches and strategists? Have to say, I wouldn't bother reading this board if it was simply all about talking up all the players.

            Interesting you mention that.

Port Adelaide in 2001. We beat them by 47 points, and Eade used the 'ultra flood'.

He used the exact gameplan that I had posted on these boards that the Swans should use earlier in the week!

            Co-incidence? I doubt it

Don't forget, Bexl that a lot of time is also devoted to praising players who are doing well - lots of comment in favour of Kirk, C. Bolton, Goodes, Schneider, Powell etc.

So be careful that it is not your listening causing the problem, if you only want to see negatives then that's all you will see.

Same applies in life, you know.

While I don't doubt that some folks closely associated with SFC take a look at this board (players/admin staff etc), I for one would hate to think that the club is in that much trouble that it needs to resort to checking out message boards for ideas on how to run their business or play football.

I think they should put Cygnatius into the ruck.

                  .
                  .
                  .

Now we'll know for sure if they're listening.
