    Final one for the day.

Which ex swans full back from the same vintage as Ray Ball (father of Luke) is/has been a powerbroker at 2 other AFL/VFL clubs?

Did Gerald Healy have to retire midway through the season after he won the best and fairest and then be delisted.

Don't think so, but you could be right.

The one I'm thinking of was a CHF/CHB, good ordinary player in a team bereft of quality - circa early 1990's. Wore no. 20 IIRC.

GERARD won in 1986,87 and 88 and definitely played in 1989. Retired I think during 1990.

re the "hint's first name Clue: it wasn't Scott Watters who was 3rd in 1992 or 1993.

I am racking my brains and the only CHB/CHF from those days that sticks in my mind is Craig Braddy but I dont recall him winning our best and fairest but I may be wrong.
                              cheers Ian

God that's depressing isn't it? Craig Braddy as a KPP. Add that to Shane Fell, John Hutton, etc....and we still have the temerity to complain about our playing list now!

The man I have in mind is Jim West. Played every game one season, won the B&F, and then at the end of the next he was gorn.

If I am wrong on the B&F front, please feel free to pass on the howls of derision. I think it was 1992.
