If I am wrong on the B&F front, please feel free to pass on the howls of derision. I think it was 1992.

Jim West now its coming back to me I should of remembered I was a member in those dark depressing days.

On Craig Braddy he like West could take a screamer but he was so inconsistant it was not funny.
cheers Ian ps does anyone know roughly how much these posts might be costing the University

Except he hadn't heard of the term "game plan". Great media personality who looked like he was about to go to sleep when he was on the telly.

They were already a competetive unit in Melbourne until it came out they were relocating to Sydney. Split the club down the centre and their form went through the floor.

He was at the forefront of the push for Sydney and is still being rewarded for it.

That's right, stood on the down side of a howling gale on the wing at the Lake Oval. How do I know. I was on the other side of the ground and hardly saw a kick close up.

He got 10 out of 10 based on his possessions. These days at least people look to see what a player does with his kicks.

If I recall correctly Jim West hit the post against Melbourne to draw the game and then we didn't win another for 20 odd games and guess who we beat - Melbourne.

Another ex full back for the Swans has a son who plays pretty well for another club who I believe was picked up under the father/son rule. Should be an easy one for Melbourne Swans.

Nico - would you like to substantiate your churlish comments about Rick Quade, particularly the bit about still being "rewarded".

If you can't, shut the **** up and stick to the trivia bits you seem to at least know a bit about.

To start with Ricky Quade was not stupid he could see the club was going nowhere in Melbourne and the move to Sydney would give the club a chance to build a new future.

He went through some really rough and emotional times during those early years and the one thing you could never question was his love for the club,I have no problem with him having a position on the board.
                              cheers Ian

Now, now I am entitled to my opinion and was on the other side of the fence back then. Still reckon he had no idea on coaching.
