Yeh got belted by Barry Round if I remember correctly.

There was certainly a fair bit of division amongst supporters in those days I certainly never doubted the passion and loyalty shown by the Keep South at South supporters they loved their club and wanted to keep them in Melbourne.

I guess the question is would we still exist as a club in our own right if we had stayed in Melbourne probably not, but I guess you could argue we are still not a superpower in the AFL and we still have no premiership trophy on the shelf.
      cheers Ian

And the news you've been waiting for...

Our RWO table (also featuring Ryan O'Keefe and Matthew Davis) went back to back tonight, taking out the Swans Trivia title for the 2nd year in a row. A bit closer this year, but a perfect score in the bonus round got us home.

BTW - the oldest Brownlow medallist for the Swans was Barry Round (good thing we changed our answer). Michael Kennedy wore number 14 before Paul Kelly (I doubt anyone else would have got that, we sure didn't).

Naturally we called ourselves team Bam Bam (sorry Tina). Having found out tonight that Pebbles is also an Old Royboy I am on his bandwagon for good.

I have just been reminded that the Michael Kennedy question was repeated from last year, probably because nobody got it right. We'd better remember it for next year when we go for the threepeat.

I am amazed you actually knew Solath Sar was Pol Pot. We were racking our brains on that one... Very Impressive... must have been Ryan's influence... Congratulations you slayed the rest of us... We had Heath James. He may be a pilot but he is pretty useless at trivia. It was a good night out.

Didn't know it, but took an educated guess on it being derived from Political Potential.

              I'm on the Chandwagon!!!

If you cannot compete for the premiership, it's better to be young and exciting than middle-aged and dowdy.
