Good to see him kept in the side at the expense of LRT. The boy is a talent!
Dempster still showing plenty!

It is good to see Dempster playing like a seasoned player, after only 2 games. -

And the best thing of all of that was he went long to a contest inside the centre square on at least one occasion. Adam was a boy the last time that happened!
I'm on the Chandwagon!!!
If you cannot compete for the premiership, it's better to be young and exciting than middle-aged and dowdy.

He was fantastic, so was Davis, easily our best.
Jude and Kirky were very good and played what we would hope is their normal 8 out of 10 games...unfortunately the usual support was error prone and the cream was either injured or missing from 20 metres in front.
Bucky and NOG were good but they didn't get the ball enough to make a positive impact. At least they didn't do their share of @@@@-ups! (I appreciate that NOG was tagging Goodwin)
A little disappointed to see that Maxi was not cited....this could have been the final part of the rebuild process with Willo and Bally out for the next few weeks."I'll acknowledge there are more talented teams in the competition but I won't acknowledge that there is a better team in the competition" Paul Roos March 2005Comment

I agree Dempster was very good along with Nick Davis - who is going well in the midfield and getting free with the ball. No one else seems to.
Dempster must stay in the team especially now - it will be good for him to get some games up.Love those SwansComment

Dempster played every minute of the game. 123 minutes. Only one of 7. So Roos is obviously going to play him as much as possible. Should do it with a few more newies.Comment

When I saw him make this play that took the ball from D50 to F50 with a big long kick, that's when I thought "more please". Not just because I think we should kick long into the forward line more, but because he clearly knows what he's doing.
I think we've found our 2005 version of Schneider and Bevan. Except I think Dempster is going to be even better. It's a big call for a two-gamer, but there's something about him. Could he be a future star? A future captain? Perhaps even a future coach?"Unbelievable!" -- Nick Davis leaves his mark on the 2005 semi finalComment

He does look a bit classier than some of our other youngsters. Speaking of which, where is Malceski? I thought he looked quite talented too (if a bit lairish).Captain Logic is not steering this tugboat.

Hopefully this quality doesn't get drummed out of him now he is a senior player!"As everyone knows our style of football is defensive and unattractive, and as such I have completely forgotten how to mark or kick over the years" - Brett Kirk
