Interesting considering both Tarrant & Miller both were excused for what looked exactly the same incident.
Davey was also reported but his activiation points were below 100 so no joy there either.

Surprising as I didn't think there was much in it at all.
So the definate outs for this weekend are:
Williams, Ball, Maxfield
Some big holes to fill but now it is time to play the youngsters.
Also who will captain with Stuey out? Kirk? I hope Barry Hall gets his chance.Swannies for life!Comment

Leo or Goodes maybe? Not B1 or B2
Hall or Kirk are definitely the most likely.Comment

Re: Maxfield gets 1 week.
Surely Maxfield will contest the charge?????
His charge carries demerit points of 225 but is reduced by 25% for Maxfield?s applicable good record ? that?s 168.7 points. If he fights the charge and loses, he will be suspended for one match and have 68.7 points carry forward.
If he pleads guilty or chooses not to contest the charge at the tribunal, the applicable demerit points are reduced by a further 25% to 126.56. A guilty plea or no contest to the charges would still result in a one match suspension (with 26.56 demerit points carried forward). All a guilty plea would achieve is a saving of 42.14 demerit points carried forward ? that?s virtually nothing.
Better to take his chances at the tribunal with this one; there?s no benefit in taking an early plea; if he pleads not guilty there?s a chance he might get off ? his worst case scenario is missing a week, the same as taking the plea.Comment

Captain Kirk has a nice ring to it
Brad Miller has been cleared and Aaron Davey can submit a guilty plea but remain unsuspended.Comment

With Maxfield, Ball and Willo out, it will be one of the youngest swans sides on the park in memory.
Will probably also mean that no more players will be axed, as 3 is already a sizeable number of changes to the side.Visit my eBay store -

Don't understand this bloody system - too many points for this and some off for that.
How can Davey who has played about 30 games jump and elbow a guy in the head and Maxfield who has played about 280 bump a guy who's head was admittedly low but no malice in it get 1 week!
Unbelievable.Comment

I thought Willoughby was injured at the moment?
He's been mentioned in a few threads, but I think he's still out for a couple of weeksComment

Would Josh not still be a tad slight for seniors (if we are assuming the slight-but-getting-bigger-every-meal JMcV is in also)? I have similar thoughts about Ericksen (but haven't had a good perv at him since the pre-season so can't be sure- I have perved away at Willoughby).I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his timeComment

I do think that Maxfield deserved something for the hit though, it really wasn't needed.
I was happy when he marked and goaled in the 3rd and then started the 4th in the Forward line as I think he might be able to add some value playing more time there, even if it is just to find some form... alas 'twas not to be and he was back in the middle soon enough.I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline

I'm on the Chandwagon!!!
If you cannot compete for the premiership, it's better to be young and exciting than middle-aged and dowdy.
