I always forget to listen to you.
How about an email notification service.
Should be interesting about the kokoda track. When Hawthorn said they were going to do it quite a few Swans who went on it said they shouldn't because it took so much out of them.Maybe our blokes are soft.

My dad was wounded on the Kokoda track and from what he said it was one hell of a place, your feet would get stuck in the filthy mud they had to slash their way through the foliage, the experience affected him deeply, many of his company were killed.

Things are a little better now you dont have the enemy picking you off from the trees but the terrain would not have changed that much, I dont really think you are soft just because you may struggle on the Kokoda Track.
ps he would be so proud if he could see his two grandchildren marching in the parade wearing his medals
        cheers Ian

The soft comment was a joke Ian.I have seen documentaries which follow groups who take the trek and as you said the ground is like glue.
The Swans players comment was that it was extremely exhausting and it took them a long time to recover which was not helpful when it came to preseason training.

No worries Barry the mateship and bonding is the part that the coaches would be interested in I think both Kirk and Saddington did the trek and said it was an experience they would not forget in a hurry, would'nt be much good for me I cant afford to lose any more weight.
            cheers Ian
