But during the game even their allocation was split in two. The 6 or so of us who had tickets via the Sydney office were right in the front row waving a few flags. The rest of them who had apparently organised things through the Melbourne office were all up the back. We had E-Girls supporters with tickets booked in the front row.

Fellas, can we please start talking between the Sydney & Mebourne offices a little more? Maybe let Melbourne organise ALL the allocation for trips to Adelaide Brisbane and Perth? As the idea to have as many Swannies together to give the team some vocal support is virtually thwarted. For all intents and purposes, we may as well have been scatttered around the ground on Saturday night.

I must add that it may well be of greater benefit to have EVERYONE sitting together in future. There was a rather large Swannies contingent in the grandstand behind where I was in Bay 141. Maybe it would be better in future if we all sat up there in future. Then I could hand out the flags and they would get waved more than they were. There is just no point lugging so many banners across the Nullabor when the Swans support is so split up.

I'll have a yarn with Tony M at the Melbourne office so that this sort of thing doesn't happen again. It was great to see him again for the 1st time this year.

Port1978 I'm sure can give us an insight into what the WA Port Supporters Club get up to re ticketing at Subi.

PS:- I have said my bit on the players' non-arrival at the after-match already. Am not particularly surprised to be honest. All I can say, is start writing letters to the club DST Nolie & co so that yu guys ARE heard. Threaten that you will not be renewing your membership if the players don't turn up next season. The WA Swans SC were stoic about things on Saturday. I feel for them; I know they are pretty hurt deep down by all this.

yeah i get ya drift JF. especially when apparently the only reason the players came last year was because the WA supporters club paid for their dinner upstairs (almost a king gee). it is true that we have had it pretty good over here in the past with regards to mingling with the players post match etc... but just hearing crap like that makes you think why we bother getting memberships. all we ask if 15-30 mins and then they can do their thing.

a good mate of mine saw bazza and a few others out in subi last year in the early hours, i wonder if they did the same on the weekend. if they did, i'd be pissed off for sure

i was alright at the time with the non-attendance on saturday night as we all thought they were on the red eye and to make it to the club would have been a pain in the ass. but to hear about the morning flight really hurts deep down and its definitely like a knife in the back.

All Port tickets in Perth JF are organised by the WA supporters group. When I go over and other people from the supporters club and cheer squad, the WA group does all our ticketing with full consent from the PAFC. Deb and Ren do a fantastic job, even though both WA clubs are hard to deal with apparently.
We are always seated together and behind the goals. Alot of people do not give enough credit to these types of people. Even with your lot, your club needs to look after them and thank them.
You don't know how lucky you are until they are gone.
It is really hard supporting your club living interstate and probably only seeing them play one or twice a year.
