Have a look at the stats if you dare - too many bloody handballs - jesus it drives me crazy at times.

Please don't reply to FH's thread - it only encourages it.

And 9 out of 10 times they are not constructive, but seem to just be executed to trouble the statistician, and it puts more pressure on.

Because we had no one at the fall of the ball - AGAIN.

In the last Q Schneider was 20 metres off his man who went to the fall of the ball in our goal square.

As I said earlier, we are not playing smart football - they need to develop more a football mindset during games.

And the reason the ball kept falling to the ground is because we kept bombing it time and again into the forward 50. Melbourne defender comes across and spoils and they pick up the loose ball. Forwards had no chance tonight.

No, the reason it got picked up by Melbourne was their opponents, our forwards, didn't get to the contest. Hell the number of times it went up there to Hall and Micky you would someone would have taken the intiative to get to a contest.

Our smalls are either too slow and lazy or just can't play as small forwards.

The reason why we did so well in 03 was PRESSURE!

Pressure in the forward line from our smalls - Buchanan, Schneider and Davis all putting their opposition backman under pressure and making them kick to low percentage marking contests.

Pressure in the midfield from Kirk, Bolton etc. which led to poor delivery in the oppositions forward line.

                  It's just not happening.

We gave it away. And I hate how at the end we know we've lost and there is nothing we can do but we let them score and they will get so much percentage.

No doubt Ryan played well too! I was so proud of him.

Oh. And not to mention our high goal kicking accuracy

The 3 games we have lost have been carbon copies.

Stopped in last 5 minutes caused by on contested centre clearances. I must watch again but, I reckon the rotations went skewiff at centre bounces in the last 5 minutes. Who was in there.

I thought our centre bounce work up until then was a big improvement, but the opposition seems to have much cleaner clearances than us. We just scrap around and want to hang onto the footy.

There is nothing clean and crisp about our game at the moment.

BB, I don't know you but, one question - how old are you?

I really don't want to be nasty but I have read about 20 of your posts and I'd like to know before I unload.

Tonight was a very hard game to watch.

We lacked nothing in endevour or committment at the football/opposition, but we just turned the ball over with our bad foot skills too many times to put any scoreboard pressure on the Dees and finish off the hard work.

Roos is going to have to find the balance in the side between defensive and offensive and those who can consistently hit targets by foot to those who can't.

At present the balance is out of whack and our structure and game plan is not working due to poor execution.

Puzzling/frustrating game to watch this evening.

Every stoppage Davis was near around the ground he made perfect position as sweeper on the Swans defensive side of the contest, but not a single ball found it's way to him.

Our defenders that lined up tonight are flat out just not big enough.

Everyone else kicks to leading forwards, we look for stationary forwards.

How hard is it to tell someone that Davey is only 90 metres behind them?

Jude took angry pills at the start of this season.

Goodes seems to have decided "this year I kill somebody".

Michael is not fit enough and this time around his coming back early seems to be having an adverse affect on team structure.
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time
