Of course we dont know what he said to him when he came off. For all we know it may have been to protect him from his own criticism. He may have gotten a "Its ok. That was a dumb thing but Davey is quick and you can learn from that"

I have no doubt at all that McVeigh played much better when he came back on. But then we are all experts from the coach.

The leadership group is hazardous, managing it wrongly and we have the exact situation that we have today. Roos does not seem to be capable of setting the rule for them. And what is the hell Mathews is doing in that group anyway? Are the clangers a part of our strategy that we need a leader for?

Craig out coached him last week and Daniher definately out coached him last night, what a great move putting young Miller onto Hall.

Roos was a good coach year 2 but he is having trouble taking the next step and would be considered in the bottom 8 of current coaches.

But I would be looking at Ross Lyon as MF coach and maybe its time to look at our forward coach as our forward line seems dysfunctional. Might be time to change the assistants around, time for new ideas?

Because Thomas is a nut job. Coaches coach, they don't decide that their players are feeling sad and take them to the movies instead of training.

Thomas is a HR manager who is incidental to St Kilda's fortunes.

Worsfold probably has the most impressive, balanced list in the competition. I rate it ahead of the Saints, especially for depth.

He obviously deserves some credit for developing the talent available to him but he also inherited a list with a good sprinkling of top draft picks, some due to the disasters during his predecessor's reign.

Wallace and Eade will win a few games with a free-wheeling style but neither will come close to finals football this year or next. When they come up against teams more talented at the free-wheeling stuff they will look terrible, as Richmond did this weekend.

I'm a bit confused as to what "outcoaching" really means, except as a label to say that the other team won. So Daniher put Miller onto Hall. One is a novice and the other a reigning club champion and AA. What would you have done if you were Roos - dragged Hall to the bench as soon as you saw Miller trot over to him?

Miller played well. Hall played badly and had poor service from his midfield. Why does that equate to being outcoached.

There weren't one or two Dees players that were responsible for the win and were allowed to rip Sydney to shreds with no response. It was an all around team effort that did the job. Meanwhile the Swans were fumbling in the midfield and kicking points. What do you think Roos could have done not to be "outcoached".

That is a very very big prediction.
I think at least one of those teams will come close to finals football either this or next year.

Outcoaching basically means making moves that change or alter a game, Roos seems incapable of making them, why didnt Hall move to the goal square to take miller out of the play, why when Melbourne kept dragging Kenneally to the goal square didnt Roos move him to a wing or HF....because Roos is one dimensional and fails to adjust his game plan during a game to suit what there are many other examples I could use.

Eade and Wallace are both Technically and Tactically well ahead of Roos if you dont believe so you live in some delusional red and white bubble.
