    Crouch

Based on his last two games, Crouch isn't fully fit at the moment. I would say he's more like 60-70%. At one stage on Saturday he grabbed his collarbone.

Since the flight plan looks like the general approach to the WCE game is get in, get out and get it over, we should rest him this week IMHO.

He actually coped a big nock to the back of the head showing courage diving in at the ball. He was holding his neck and back of his head. I thought it was the collar bone too but he kept rubbing the neck.

In saying that he is not fit he is at theast committed to the ball

I got the impression he was trying to make a point to the umpire that he copped a high one rather than actually being injured. After he'd had a look at the umpire whilst rubbing his neck it magically seemed to get better.
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

He did cop one high, he didn't get a free, TV reported he was also adjusting the support he wears since the injury.

I don't think his injury is that problem - it's his lack of match fitness from missing the pre-season.
A couple of weeks in Canberra couldn't hurt.
