    Keep LRT.

    Am I the only one whos had a gut full of the "drop LRT" brigade.

    The poor young bloke gets shouldered with tough jobs every week because our recruiting/match-play makes him our key defender week in week out. He may not be spectacular, but he's nullified most he's been on.

    Blaming him for our crap start to the year is only exposing those poster's lack of football knowlegde.

    Keep LRT, and let him develop at AFL level (not nuffy ACT league).
    The long term benefits are huge.

      I really doubt that. Only time will tell, and if Jolly gets suspended he'll get at least another chance...

              I am standing shoulder to shoulder with you Barry.Last year was a write off for him because of injury which really messed up his development.I thought he showed a bit in the preseason matches.
              I think he will improve a hell of a lot over time.
              And while I am at it I am a Roos supporter as well.

                  lrt can run 20 km in a match which is massive for a boy his size. sure, he's a project player, but he could be a very worthwhile one.
                  then again, i think it would be worth trying 15-16 players on field so what would i know

                      Unfortunately, most of that running is done in circles not really contributing in a positive sense. While he may have a primary role nullifying an opponent, his real value will come if he can develop the skills to hurt the opposition offensively, which right now, he can't.

                      If you cannot compete for the premiership, it's better to be young and exciting than middle-aged and dowdy.

                              How about playing him in the ruck. At least his running could be utilized in full. Playing him in the defence at the moment is not helpful for him at all.

                                  He will get THRASHED in the ruck this weekend. Not a very good team to start his lessons off as a youngster. I reckon he'd be best off having a few weeks either rucking or playing CHB in the ressies to not only get his confidence up, but also learn the position and game. THe elite level may be a good place for a youngin to learn the ropes, but not to learn the game.

                                      He did plenty of rucking in ressies previously. He was U18 All-Australia ruckman as well. We are trying to mold him as a CHB as much as we did try to mold Goodes as a FB in Goodes's first year. Geez, our players' positional developments are extraordinary.

                                          the guy is a disgrace to the jumper. has no footy brain, only in the team because he is a Union convert. Send him back to where he came from.

                                          as the very least, give him a decent haircut. the dunny bruch last years, and the try hard surfy look this year??
