Would like to know what you guys think of this, especially:
"Melbourne was on top from the outset, employing a brilliant anti-flood methodology consisting of Paul Wheatley's roosts from full-back, and getting its first goal when James McDonald hit Neitz on the lead after Wheatley had hoofed it to the centre. If Sydney wanted numbers in defence, it had no chance against such a torrent..."
Do you think this is a way that could bve used to defeat us from now on? It seems to make sense that if we are getting all our numbers back in defense, the opposition could belt the ball to the centre (SCG = shorter) then driving it forward quickly - the flood would be having a negative effec t to the team doing it.
