You know, I seem to get the impression that some of the posters on this board are just ever-so-slightly disappointed with the way the Swans five games this year have gone.Originally posted by Wil

Maybe the plan involves priority draft picks in 2005, in which case the 4th quarter against Brisbane most certainly didn't go to plan"As everyone knows our style of football is defensive and unattractive, and as such I have completely forgotten how to mark or kick over the years" - Brett Kirk

I suppose the irony is if Roos didn't do well when he took over the Swans would have got better draft picks but Roos wouldn't have got the job.

It was a five year plan, with goals of finding out a bit about the players and possibly drafting kids with lowish picks for a couple of years and then starting to be in a position to challenge for the flag in the 3rd year.Originally posted by Vivien
It may just be my bad memory, but I could've sworn it was a three year plan??? So if this were right it would mean....
Swans premiers 2005!
All went horribly wrong in 2003!Comment

So it was the recession we had to have - needed the trough to even out the peak!Originally posted by Schneiderman
