According to the stats (see link) we do not have a good record on the road when going west. We've played at Subi 16 times and lost 12 of them, and we've played at the WACA 6 times and lost 4 of those. Winning %'s of 25% and 33 1/3% respectively. And, if I heard correctly on the radio this morning the Weagles are now equal favourites for the flag this year. I bet they're just dying to get back at us for that finals loss at Stadium Oz last year.......

Giant-killer Eagles now want revenge on SwansThe Swans won't just be facing an in-form, undefeated West Coast in Perth this weekend. They'll be facing a side looking for revenge.Comment

Those stats include Fremantle, and our record against Fremantle is not great.
Here's the West Coast stats:
Sydney v West Coast
Home: 10 wins 3 losses (13 games)
Away: 4 wins 10 losses (14 games)
Finals: 1 win 0 losses (1 game)
Home: 14 games - 79% win 21% loss (includes 1 final)
Away: 14 games - 29% win 71% loss
The statistics show that West Coast's record against us in Sydney is even worse than our record against them in Perth.
Therefore, it's likely that we won't win in Perth. But the odds are with us in the return game. One of our home wins against the Eagles was in 1992 when we got the spoon and they got the flag."Unbelievable!" -- Nick Davis leaves his mark on the 2005 semi finalComment

I do agree that the coasties will want to give us a good pasting, and whilst it may not rub out all memory of the finals last season, i imagine they'll take a 10 goal win for now.I wish my weed was EMO so it would cut itselfComment

well the early forecast is for thundery showers
it might be like the final and hopefully the result 2
maybe some no nonsense wet weather footy will be a plus for us and therefore wipe out the eagles slick skills in dry conditionsRoosy = LEGENDComment
