    eagles will kill us

    sorry punters
when is the last time we lost by 100 points.and if jolly gets rubbed out tonight add and extra twenty.my apoligies to all you loyal fans making the trip to perth, cause at the end of the game eagles fans are going to let fly, hopefully you have booked a wine tour of margaret river just to make the weekend worthwhile.talk about a long trip home.driving home from the scg after a loss is bad enough.the swans form is woeful and there has to be a **** load of sole searching before saturday night.good luck to the boys i hope they have a dig and salvage some pride but i think it is going to be a hard task.

At the SCG too. It was a shocker, stunning the Sydney crowd into silent disbelief.

They were also years when West Coast weren't particularly strong.

... and we kicked more goals than behinds in every win.

If they just aim for a point (or close their eyes) we will probably kick straighter.

Tipping suprise win this weekend...now where did I put that other eye?

I think a few behinds need to be kicked before this weekend!!

We got Saints when they were ten in a row and the last two by more than 100 points. That includes beating WC by 100+!

And we got Brisbane a number of times even when they were up.

You never know. Good thing is, if we lose it wont be a surprise

Does the pleasure of winning when you expect to lose outweigh the pain of losing when you expect to win, or are they roughly even?

If you live in the moment the two never meet, but over time the optimist in me only remembers the good stuff. I love my 2003 Highlights DVD

And as an aside, SportsBet are paying $5.75 for a Swans win, and $17 for a 20-39!

I dont bet as a rule, but a lazy $20 split on those could earn a whopping $227 for a four goal victory. Now that would make for a seriously fun weekend!

The more I think about it, the more I think that we have nothing to lose. With Goodes in the ruck, Tadgh on a wing and a big big ground, we may well approach this match with a different attitude.

                              Here's hoping eh.
