    Raindance

Never thought that I'd be happy to hear that thunderstorms are predicted for a Swans game but this weekend against the Eagles I'll take it with glee. Might stop the percentage getting too much of a hammering!

That's exactly what the Swans needed: a divine intervention from above....

The rain/storms might bring back bad memories for the Eagles, who will then capitulate!!!!!!

And who said it never rains in WA.
This is awesome news. Eagles haven't played in the wet much apart from the schalacking they got from us last year!

              Classic Swans-Eagles in the wet

Round 22, 1996 - we win to finish on top of the ladder for the first time in 51 years. First appearance of the slow Sydney chant.

Semi-final 2004 - Rain from a dramatic thunderstorm in the second quarter allowed us to kick away to a match-winning lead. Eagles kicked 2.5 after quarter time.

I played all my football in Perth and if it rained more than twice in a season you felt cheated.

They may be the one side that plays worse than us in the wet - but it ain't gonna make for a pretty game.

I recall, vividly, that the Weagles dont play well in thunderstorms.

remember our form in the wet is pretty ordinary,if it is wet ill bet they will try playing the dry weather game in the slop at subby.over head marks, kicking into the man on the mark.im feeling sick just thinking about it.ill put my house on this game that we will not win.im sorry guys but not even the pope can get us through this one.
