We are 2 points down at half time. BBBB did not seem to have a touch in the first quarter but fought back for 2 goals in the 2nd quarter. 15 points down at end of 3rd quarter. It will be tough to win from here. Hawks ran away to win by 6 goals in the final quarter. We broke down badly up forward and in the midfield after half time.
IT WILL BE A TOUGH YEAR.

I'm guessing there might be a rule that if you have possession of the ball and make contact with the post then it is out of bounds (or a behind if contact with goal post). Either that or the umpire made a mistake and thought the ball hit the post, which would make no sense as that is normally the goal umpire's call.

Anyway, I reckon it's a pretty ordinary game of footy so far. Sure it's slippery. which doesn't help, but both teams are making some ordinary decisions and plays.

I don't think they'll need the "extra Hawk" - I can't Sydney getting back from here (down 15 at 3QT).

Well as stated previously, Groundhog Day. We are absolutely pathetic. Yet another piss weak performance. A few slog their guts out, while another minority bludge and provide weak links that are exploited. Schauble was out done far too often. Leo was exactly the same. How did Scaubs miss that sitter so early on?

Who was on Rawlings. He was allowed so many second digs. Did Matthews release one effective disposal? Frosty was far too slow. Jonathon Hay ran him down from 5m after frosty had a running start and Hay was onthe turn

Wont be surprised if J Bolton gets a good wrap. Got a fair amount of the pill but his disposal was atrocious. Put Malceski, McVeigh etc in for a run because these pathetic footballers are dragging us down. If you arent gonna have a crack at the footy then piss off home

Captain Kirk and Stewie were great along with Willow, Goodesy and Tadgh, despite being placed out of position again

The only thing as poor as the umpiring standard was Russell Greenes biased commentary, ala E. Maguire

                  I was pleased with:
J Bolton- tried hard and disposal IS improving

Kirk- looked a bit quiet, but chalked up 14 posessions and he is a tagger, he layed some great tackles and smothers

Williams- but needs some bloody support!

Maxfield- not too bad, but still not his best

                  Ball- tried hard

Goodes- Finally! consistency seems to have come into his vocabulary. Looks to be a CHAMPION!

J.Bolton is an absolute disgrace. He fumbles, his kicks are terrible, and he gets in the road of more talented players. He's got to be traded next year.

We are seriously missing Doyle. Everitt killed us for height, the same as the opposing ruckman has in the last two games.

Nick Davis needs to get off his lazy arse and do something too.

I'm one of J Bolton's biggest critics and he annoys and frustrates hell out of me, however I think he could be a valuable player in a good side. Unfortunately, we are not that side and he does not have the ability to carry the midfield, which is what he is needed for.
