    Schauble

I wouldn't have brought Schauble in this week. I know we're a little short, but he's slow and will be exposed first-up on the bigger ground. Surely it would have been logical to play someone with a bit of pace, as that's one of the eagles greatest strengths.

And who would you suggest this alternative be?

I can't see any choice other than Schuabs.

well he was only an emergency . whatever that means!?

just another joke of a decision in a week full of joke decisions by the club.

he's either fit enough to play, he automatically should be in the 22. If he is fit, how stupid would it have been if Jolly escaped suspension so Schaubs didnt play.

Or he isnt fit, in which case there was no point listing him as an emergency.

And then there's all the other monkeys (hi Aker!) in this team that are playing like crap yet still stay in the team with no threat of getting dropped apparently

Maybe try some youth in the form of Malceski or Moore? They were named as emergencies as well.

We'd be too small if one of those two were to play instead of Schuabs. Hansen, Lynch,Seaby and Gardiner - We'd only have CBolton and Barry. Goodes and LRT would be too busy rucking to mind them.

Maybe we should stop being great coaches. Schauble is okay in defence - just needs game time and is probably better than an untried.

Malceski and Moore were named as emergencies.

I'm sure the thinking was that they'd prefer Schaubs to have another week in the reserves, but with Jolly out, LRT and Goodes have to ruck between them. That takes both away from key defensive posts, hence the need to "rush" Schaubs back in.

For Moore or Malceski to have played one of the incumbent small, young midfielders would have had to have given way.

Unless there's a late withdrawal due to injury, like LRT two weeks ago. I would love to see either of Moore or Malceski make a debut.

I will declare an interest here- I do love Schaubs.

But if Schauble is fit then he has to play, regardless of the ground. Simple as that. There are plenty of other guys that can be shoved out of the seniors if room has to be made for Malceski or Moore.
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

And that right there is another big problem at the moment. before we'd had 2 shocking losses and no-one had been dropped as a result. There are a number of these incumbent small, young midfielders who have continued to underperform, yet others such as Moore and Malceski continue to sit on the sideline.

You would think Schauble would dye his hair to at least look like he is a young bloke. The opposition must look at him and think, I am on grandpa tonight. And he played like grandpa.

Schauble?Bloody hell , he didn't play too bad IMO considering it was not planned to play him and he was clearly underdone. And, when you are fighting an avalanche of ball being perfectly positioned to the forward line, there really wasn't a lot he could do.By the end even C.Bolton was totally exhausted , couldn't kick ten metres and couldn't handpass over a player but I don't blame him either.
Truth is the Weagles were vastly superior and we were undermanned and lacking skills.I mean, the embarrassing sight of our hard tacklers pumbling the weagles and then having ten handpassers before a weagle intercepted and kicked long and direct to one of there players says it all.
And the 'ctitics' say get rid of ,who knows this week....loooks like bevan,crouch,buchanan....and replace with moore and malceski! What for? Do you wanna crucify them as well?I even noticed someone was still blaming Mathews for this loss!If Mathews ,Ball,Jolly and Willo have played, the result would have been closer.
