And people here were dissing WC earlier in the season...
Wilson summed it up perfectly before - at the ball in all the Swans players were behind WC players - all adopting defensive rather than attacking positions. It's the same all game, every game, every week.
Some of our guys, particularly Bevan, need to learn how to keep their feet in a contest.
They also need to learn how to tackle properly - Kennelly, Barry, Bevan and Maxfield are particularly bad at grabbing guys around the head.
Our forward line is ineffective and the rest of our structure isn't much better.
We're currently looking at just 37 goals in 19 of our last 20 quarters.

The current 22 are obviously not up to it, so why not try some of the youngsters out. Could they do any worse? If the match committee are of the belief the youngsters aren't up to it either, then why draft them to begin with?
If you try a key in a lock 20 times and it doesn't open any of those 20 times, it sure as hell ain't gonna open on the 21st attempt. When will the match committee give up on trying the same thing over and over when IT DOESN'T WORK.
I'm on the Chandwagon!!!
If you cannot compete for the premiership, it's better to be young and exciting than middle-aged and dowdy.
104 points in a game of almost constant rain. Says something.
Time to clean out the attic, bye bye to to comwebs. Maxfield has to go. This isnt just fanatical ranitng anymore, its a coaching decision that needs to be made. Roos needs to stop playing defensive footy. What is the point of trying to defend a 40 point deficit??

They havn't got any decent coaches to teach the kids anything , anyway.
The umpiring is shocking, how can they let this happen, not only in this game, but in other AFL games, Goldstink needs to have another look at his decisions, I suggest he watch the game from the back seat. The Swans are in a little rutt maybe? We need a boost to get all spirits high, but how to do that is the question. We aren't firing on all cylinders.

Time for a clean out.
If I don't see a clean out soon, I think I will lose total faith in Roos ability to coach.
I am not normally overly dramatic re: the Swans, but they have been a disgrace this year. It is up to Roos and his coaching team to do something about it, and soon.
Don't think trying the youngsters out will achieve much except to widen the scorelines. We're already being outmuscled so I don't think bringing in skinny and raw kids is the answer.
And finally, let me preface this statement by saying it had nothing to do with the result BUT
Umpire 22 that was the worst HTB decision ever. I thought Goldspink was bad today but you take the cake with that one decision.

I think the match committee simply consists of Homer J Simpsons!!
