    Positives

I've been trying to think of a few positives to come of tonight's game:

    1. It wasn't on tele.
    2. I tipped WCE.
    3. Maxfield punched someone and might get suspended.

    Anyone got anything else?

    Kirk was good
    Jude tried hard
They beat us by less than they beat the Lions (and on their home ground)
The Brisbane/Essendon game was on at the same time, so could flick channels
    I also tipped them

Just looking at the RWO comp, I'm honestly amazed at how many people tipped Sydney.

And ROK, you forgot Dean Cox's 47 hitouts for him as your dream team captain!

        I'm on the Chandwagon!!!

If you cannot compete for the premiership, it's better to be young and exciting than middle-aged and dowdy.

I got cold feet on the captain thing. Thought Gardiner and Sealy miht have got plenty of time practicing...

            Only 106 points * 2 = 212 though. Cousins and Judd racked up a lazy 120+ points.

I think there were zero positives from that game.
Captain Logic is not steering this tugboat.

I am sick to death of 'tried hard' (this is not directed at you Margie). AFAIC 'tried hard' does not cut it anymore. The Swans need some talent to go with their endeavour.

Goodes played well in Ruck and seemed to be enojoying it.
Nick Davis got good possessions and kicked 2 goals.
                    Nicks did well at defence.
                    Dempster okay.
Hope to see a few newbies next week.
Think Roos is very angry at their efforts - could be good for the team - maybe a change.
They will be on their way home tonight - to prepare for next week.
Only the one trip to Perth this year and it is over now.
                    Love those Swans

On a serious note, maybe Roos will give serious thought to playing Goodes in the ruck for a good period of time each match? I thought he started rather well before being swamped by Cox.

Kirk also stood out. Jude did do some good things (and I'm not protecting him, ROK) but his skill level has gone up a notch this year.

                          Positives.

                          The game was on Foxtel.

My kids all went out to parties.

I went out for a rare night without the kids and didn't get home till the 4th qtr so it was all over by then

Would love to see Goodesy's clearance stats - he roved alot of his own ball.

No according to my sources. And I should know because I had Spider as my cap'n this week.
