How can someone win a rowing comp with a "indefinate" ankle ?

And please dont rush Ball back with a hammy, so he does it again.

Why haven't we brought in a rookie? this is inexcusable!

(And could somebody please go and jump on Ben Mathews foot?)

He's not listed, so that would indicate that he is fit to play. Has he played in the reserves yet? He won't walk straight back into the side.

He has played at least twice in the reserves, and I don't know about last week, so it could be at least three times if he played last week. I thought he looked OK. We could certainly do with him down the back.

He played in Queanbeyan on Sunday. Looked fit and moved well, but certainly did not dominate as I thought he might. He played well but to my eye he looked a little bored and underwhelmed by the whole event, just going through the motions.

I will be absolutely stunned if Ball comes back next week!

I'll back him to return in about round 14 going on past history.

Wonder why he would look like that ROK.

Then again the club he came from, Mitcham, are languishing at the foot of Div 1 in the Eastern Football League in Melbourne. Maybe he has been promised the Captain/Coach job in 2006.

Not sure if this has come up elsewhere, but have we nominated a rookie to take Doyle's place?

I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time
