    Ben Mathews kick to Magic

    Did anyone notice Magic when Mathews totally stuffed his lead in the forward pocket with anther misdirected kick?

    I swear he said "@@@@ing Ben" as the ball dribbled over the boundary line.

      What was that!?! Some scrubber of a kick when he had the time to pass it properly, and then Hawthorn rebounded it quite easily.
      Captain Logic is not steering this tugboat.

          There were so many things stupid ben matthews did wrong last night not only that ****ty kick but there were a few other ****ty kicks.
          Seriously i thought he was gunna miss that goal because thats how he is unpredictable.

          He deserves to be dropped. Hawthorn had 8 players under 21 last nite i think its time we blood sum more youngesters

              If it's the ****ty kick I thinking of it was set up with a really good piece of play by Schnieder. He picked the ball up steadied handballed over two players (swan & hawk) to Matthews who tried a 5 metre left foot pass which came off his knee. :P

              At least Schneider looks a prospect.

                  Schneider is a definite positive to come out of the first 4 games - IMO he's shown more confidence than the senior players in the team - especially when kicking for goal. Mathews' skills aren't as bad as they look - when he actually makes up his mind - it's just that he looks to be VERY indecisive when he gets the ball.
