    Doyle out for the season

Have not seen in this in print anywhere yet, but I heard on the radio that Roos confirmed today that Doyle is out for the rest of the season with a chronic ankle injury.

Far out, man. I'm sick of reading his name everywhere with the heading related to "Injuries"

Get him out of here. We don't need him. I'm sick of knowing that he's been injured or out for the season. Why would we want a player that is so injury prone?
Vicky Pollard: Oh my god I so can't believe you just said that this is like the time I threw Anita's nokia in the canal as a joke and she's like you have well got to buy me another one and I'm like get over it and then Paul came over who's adopted anyway and started saying that I fancy Mark Bennett but oh my god just because I have sex with someone doesn't mean I fancy them.

And just confirmed on Channel 10. What is it with us and ruckmen?

My sound harsh but can we really persist with him?

And for the rest of his life, you'd imagine. Poor bastard. Just when he'd had a good pre-season and was looking competent....or at least showing promise.

        Uplisting:
        1. Vogels
        2. Campbell
        3. Grundy

Any news as to whether Mathews is out for the season? If not, can somebody?

So...We get to promote a rookie, then. Campbell or Vogels, I'd say.

          You beat me Moca!

Anyway my vote goes to Vogels..

What?? After the Adelaide game he said he was recovering well and hoped to be back on the field in "2-3 weeks". I specifically asked if that was Swans ruckman 2-3 weeks that could be 2-3 months? He replied that he expected it would be only a few weeks but could be a couple of months.

Now tell me again why giving up a first round draft pick for Jolly was a bad move. Rather, maybe we should just fill the Magoos with potential ruckmen? And, with Ball dubious for the rest of the season who is going to be our second ruckman for the rest of the season? Please don't say LRT. I think he may develop useful skills but rucking won't be one of them. And Goodes, to reverse the old adage, can't jump.

The way Roos was talking he's part of the future though.

What else was he going to say? Was he going to turn around and say, "nah, we're sick to death with his injuries. He's played his last ever AFL game" ?

I seem to remember the Bulldogs saying Mark Alvey was part of their future too, right before they traded him off to Essendon.

Old bloke says to kid, "So mate, what do you want to be when you grow up?"

Kid replies, "Well I wanted to be a fireman, and then I wanted to be an astronaut, but now I have this disability that means I will never be able to work at all so I guess I will be a Swan."

Correct me if I am wrong but isn't this the 2nd time he has missed a season after hurting himself in Game 1. 2 years ago?

Correct, was the knee (cap?) last time if my memory serves me correctly.

Must of done it breaking that rowing machine record!!!!!!

Surely that's the end now. Only thing that will save him is if none of the other talls step up this year (....... highly likely now I think about it).
