I'm not doubting you - I just can't imagine it.

H'm yes let's paly someone else out of position, after all the Goodes experiment was such a sterling success and the plan to injure Gardner's knee by playing Tiger on him came close to ending the West Coast ruckmans year.
Lots and lots of CHBs were CHFs in lower comps, and plenty can play both position.

Kennelly isn't a key position player's bootlace, so why he was on Gardiner I don't know.

Can we bring up Vogels AND Campbell, retire someone maybe?

Vogels looks OK, but we really need a bigger defender, has anyone seen much of Campbell in the twos?

The thing about Vogels and Campbell is that they are 22 and 23 respectively this year. If we are not going to give them a shot in the seniors at their age, why bother recruiting mature-age rookies at all.

Campbell certainly has the size for a KPP.

Maybe that can be our new defensive plan - stick our stream of midgets under their legs - sort of Gulliveresque...

Yeah, must admit I've been a bit surprised that Campbell hasn't been brought in to bolster the ruck. I would have thought this was just the kind of extreme problem that he was recruited to solve.

Given that he'll only get one year on the rookie list, you'd have to wonder what kind of emergency they had in mind when they were weighing up whether to recruit him?

"Campbell is the other possible KPP and he's played more in the back half. He reminds me very much of the big ex-Melbourne player we had last year (still can't remember his name). Probably just not up to the AFL."

He's got a long kick, but not a very clean ball handler.
